In an email dated November 15, 2019, to a PLRB staff member from Dale Oolman, Steele County, MN Planning & Zoning Director, Mr. Oolman stated Steele County has enforced MN State Building Codes since 1993. There is no adoption ordinance available at this time. The County Building Official also performs building inspections through contracts for the cities of Blooming Prairie, Medford, Ellendale, and as well as Deerfield Township.
